Covered U.S.-listed ETFs and related exchange-traded products, including international, commodity and digital-asset exposure. This is not the full global fund universe. Prospectus-only entries and funds with no identified issuer are excluded. Funds are counted once by ticker; issuer brands are grouped as named in the dataset. FlexShares is grouped with Northern Trust; other affiliated brands may remain separate. The issuer asset-class filter selects brands offering that class; issuer totals still include all their covered funds.

Covered assets sum the available figures for the listed ETFs, not all assets managed by their parent companies. ETF share-class assets take priority. Multi-class fund totals are excluded unless a separate ETF-class figure is available. Otherwise a reported AUM is used, or net assets from an explicitly single-class filing. Missing values are not zero. Figures are USD, may be rounded, and span different reporting dates; partial coverage can materially affect rankings.

Asset classes are grouped from the published fund categories. This describes each fund’s primary strategy, not a look-through allocation of every holding. For example, gold-miner stocks count as equity, while physical gold products count as commodities. Leveraged, inverse and option-based products may be included and have different risks.

The weighted annual fee is Σ(assets × expense ratio) ÷ Σ(assets), using only funds with both figures. It is not a charge levied by the issuer on all investors. The annual cost example multiplies the expense ratio by a constant $10,000 balance; trading costs and taxes are excluded.

The latest catalog and changed fund files are checked automatically, normally daily while the service is active. A dated cached snapshot remains available during updates or source failures. Rankings are informational and do not measure investment suitability.
