Previous uses the stated common earlier date in Comparable date mode, or each series’ prior published observation in Latest available mode. High / low = available readings in the preceding 12 months, not intraday prices. Green / red describe rising / falling yields, not bond-price returns.
Yields are percentages per year, not bond prices or executable bid/ask quotes. U.S. observations are Treasury par yields; German observations are current federal benchmark yields; Japanese observations are JGB constant-maturity yields. OECD and Eurostat series are monthly long-term government benchmarks, generally around 10 years. These methodologies are not identical.
Comparable date mode calculates changes between the same two displayed dates; missing earlier observations remain unavailable. Latest available mode uses each series’ preceding available reading. Change (bp) = (yield − previous yield) × 100. Chg. % is the relative yield change versus a positive previous yield; it is blank when the previous yield is zero or negative. Twelve-month highs and lows use the available daily readings or monthly averages. Missing readings are not replaced with zero.
Dates are source observation dates; monthly labels identify the reference month. Comparable date mode selects one exact date with the widest country coverage, newest on ties, within 7 days for daily series or 120 days for monthly references. Series without that date are excluded with counts shown. Latest available mode retains dated older references and is not a same-date ranking. A country absent from the list has no supported public series here.
The page checks for updates while open. Official sources are cached for up to six hours; publication schedules differ and updates may be delayed. Dated saved observations remain available during interruptions. History shows only the observations available for each series.
The sidebar reuses FOLITIC’s Fed Rate Monitor: prediction-market estimates, not CME FedWatch or Fed Funds futures prices. Probabilities are independent of bond yields and do not guarantee a decision.
