Softs toolkit

Estimate a physical quantity, convert standard weights and compare two coffee benchmarks.

Soft commodity value calculator

Estimate a quantity using its latest available monthly benchmark.

Estimated reference value···

An indicative benchmark estimate before freight, quality differences, processing and taxes. Monthly averages are not executable offers.

Weight converter

Convert kilograms, pounds and metric tonnes.

Converted weight

1 metric tonne equals 1,000 kilograms. 1 pound equals 0.45359237 kilograms. Bags and bales are excluded because their weights vary.

Arabica / Robusta price gap

Compare two green coffee benchmarks for the same reference month.

Arabica minus Robusta···

The gap compares different coffee types and market specifications. It is not a measure of profit or a trading signal.

Data notes

These are monthly commodity reference averages from the World Bank Pink Sheet. They are not intraday prices, exchange closing quotes or executable offers. Cocoa, coffee, sugar, cotton, tea, fresh oranges and natural rubber use different benchmark specifications.

Original values use nominal US dollars per kilogram. Pound and metric tonne displays are mathematical conversions by FOLITIC. Fresh oranges represent fruit, not orange juice futures.

MoM and YoY changes are calculated by FOLITIC from the corresponding calendar month. Missing comparisons remain unavailable. The history shows up to 61 monthly observations. Price series may be revised.

Reference month identifies the period averaged. Publication identifies the workbook release. Refreshing the page does not change those dates. Observations older than 75 days are flagged and excluded from price calculators. Observations older than 150 days are hidden.
