FOLITIC / HEAD-TO-HEAD ETF COMPARISON
Compare the portfolios behind the tickers. Bring 2–4 ETFs together to explore costs, performance, income and shared exposure.
Returns are cumulative, not annualized. Each figure keeps its own reference date. Assets marked “whole fund” include other share classes and are not the ETF class alone. A dash means unavailable, not zero.
The plot compounds rounded weekly returns; small differences from the reported period returns above are possible. Past performance does not predict future returns. A shorter history is never filled with invented values.
The ten largest reported positions. Filed portfolios can be several months old. Bond entries may group multiple securities; derivative exposure is not equivalent to securities held outright.
Weights follow the available disclosure. Missing, unmapped or non-stock exposure is not redistributed to make the chart add up to 100%. Country weights describe holdings, not where a fund is listed.

Observed overlap = the sum of the smaller weight for each matching holding key. It uses the disclosed weights without rescaling and does not look through holdings in other funds. Dates can differ; missing holdings can understate overlap. This is not return correlation.
Annual model: investment × [(1 + gross return) × (1 − annual fee)] ^ years. Each fund receives the same assumed gross return. Fees are held constant, including any current waiver; no tax, trading cost, contribution or FX change is modelled. The fee reduction includes lost compounding, not only cash fees. Missing fees are never treated as zero.
This scenario is separate from historical returns, which already reflect fund expenses. A lower fee alone does not make two different portfolios interchangeable.
The catalogue covers U.S.-listed funds with a mix of U.S. and international exposures; it is not every ETF listed worldwide. Fund data and field coverage vary. A request failure does not become a zero. Saved dated data remains available when possible.
Performance uses TickerInside’s computed dividend-adjusted weekly returns, aligned to one common date range with continuous observations for all selected funds. Missing weeks shorten the window. The reported 1-, 3- and 5-year returns are cumulative total returns, each shown with its data date.
Holdings, sector and country comparisons use current published snapshots, often dated differently. The overlap matrix is a FOLITIC calculation over matching stock keys, retaining local-market and share-class suffixes. It is a partial observed overlap when coverage is incomplete, not a guarantee that portfolios are independent.
Distribution yield is trailing twelve months (TTM), not 30-day SEC yield or a forecast. Cash payments use up to 12 recent records from Atlantis Data Solutions. Frequency is inferred from recent regular payment dates and can change. Payments may include income, capital gains or return of capital. A past payment date does not verify receipt in an account. “Update pending” retains the data source’s stale status.
Selected fund data is checked on opening and during extended visits, with a six-hour browser cache and a 20-minute minimum interval for manual checks. Data dates, rather than check times, indicate the age of each figure. No key or account is required from the visitor.
