The inverse target applies to a single day. Over multiple days, even −1x can differ from the opposite of the total market return.

Hypothetical illustration, not an ETF forecast. Each day applies the chosen inverse multiple to that day’s underlying return, then an illustrative expense drag of (1 − annual fee)^(1/252) for −1x, −2x and −3x. The positive 1x reference has no fee. Financing, spreads, taxes, distributions, slippage and tracking error are excluded. Values are floored at zero and remain at zero afterward; real funds may liquidate or change exposure in extreme conditions.

Data notes

This curated list covers 30 U.S.-listed, daily-reset inverse ETFs across broad indices, equity sectors, international equities and Treasury bonds. It is not a complete global universe. Targets and benchmark labels were reviewed on 18 October 2026; they describe the stated objective, not a measured or guaranteed return.

Fees and ETF-only net assets come from dated public fund disclosures. A dash means the figure is unavailable, not zero. Net expense ratios may include temporary waivers; financing and trading costs can be additional. The table shows each figure’s date. Net assets can be several months old and are not a live AUM estimate.

Disclosures are requested when opened or refreshed and checked during extended visits; session caching lasts up to six hours. TradingView market data updates independently. Their timestamps can differ. No figures are extracted from the embedded market charts.

Inverse funds can lose value when the underlying rises. Daily compounding can also produce losses over a choppy period even when the underlying finishes flat. A daily −1x, −2x or −3x target does not guarantee the same multiple over a longer holding period. These tools are educational, not personal investment advice.
