FOLITIC / CURRENCY CONVERTER
Convert with context. Compare costs, explore currency routes, and see where every unit goes.
Loading reference rates…
The percentage fee and fixed fee are deducted in the source currency. The exchange margin reduces the reference rate.
Daily reference values, not live buy/sell quotes. Your bank or broker may apply a different rate.
FOLITIC / FX LAB
Follow a closed route through three or four currencies and measure what remains after every conversion.
Compare every available closed route in your chosen set. Uses the starting amount and slippage above; returns to the currency selected here.
These costs apply to every reference conversion. Each fixed fee is in that step’s source currency. Quotes in your quote book use their own individual fees.
Enter the rate you can receive in each direction, including its spread. Reverse quotes are never assumed. Use contemporaneous quotes with enough liquidity for the starting amount. Blank rate rows are ignored.

Showing up to five routes, ranked by final balance. Ties prefer fewer conversions, then currency-code order. Routes with unavailable prices or fees that consume the balance are excluded. Every currency is visited once before returning to the start.
Reference cross rates form a balanced loop before costs; they cannot identify executable arbitrage. To test a real offer, choose My quoted rates and enter the available rate for each direction. A positive result is a scenario, not a guaranteed trade.
| Conversion route | Rate: receive per 1 sent | Fee (%) | Fixed fee | Balance after step |

Each rate is destination units per 1 source unit. Fees are deducted before each conversion; fixed fees use that step’s source currency. Slippage reduces each entered rate (100 bps = 1%). Do not count a spread twice if it is already in your quote.

Offer fees are in the source currency. Use rates that already include any quoted spread; the converter’s exchange margin is not added again.
Exchange rates are daily reference observations. Cross rates use the latest date available for all selected currencies; weekends and holidays can move that date back. Calculations stop using a reference observation more than three days after its date. Coverage and update times vary by currency.
Net received = (amount × (1 − percentage fee / 100) − fixed fee) × rate × (1 − margin / 100). Route calculations repeat this at each step, replacing margin with slippage in basis points. Intermediate balances retain full precision; displayed amounts are rounded. Real settlement, transfer restrictions, taxes and rounding can change the outcome.
This page models conversions only. It does not send money, execute trades, or guarantee available liquidity. Manual offers and costs remain in your browser and are not submitted to a provider.
