Which trending cryptocurrencies should I watch?
This page helps you identify assets receiving attention and compare their reported price, market capitalization and volume. A high position can reflect short-lived interest or speculation. Use the ranking to start research, not as a recommendation to buy.
How are trending altcoins ranked?
The Trending view uses a daily, independent aggregation of popularity signals. FOLITIC Activity uses a different calculation: market turnover, the size of the 24-hour price move and trading volume. An asset can rank highly on one measure and not the other.
Are these the most searched cryptocurrencies in every country?
The regional sections show the national rankings available in the current daily source snapshot. They are not FOLITIC visitor statistics, a survey of a country’s investors or a complete count of worldwide searches. Countries without a published ranking are marked clearly.
What do blockchain trends tell us?
Shifts in attention can highlight themes such as scaling, payments, tokenization or decentralized applications. Attention does not establish adoption, investment merit or security. Verify the asset, network and contract before drawing conclusions; tickers can be shared by unrelated tokens.
Data notes & methodology
Trending and regional rankings: Crypto Trends Map, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Its aggregate combines CoinGecko trending, CoinMarketCap popularity signals and Binance Hot signals. Regional lists are the country rankings reported by that source. This is not CoinMarketCap’s own global ranking and does not reproduce its complete dataset. The daily source snapshot normally publishes around 00:35 UTC; FOLITIC checks it hourly while requested.
Trend score (0–100): up to 30 points for CoinGecko rank, 25 for CoinMarketCap top-search rank, 15 for its 24-hour ranking, 20 for country spread and 10 for Binance Hot. The score is supplied by Crypto Trends Map. Country order is preserved from its country feed; it is not recalculated from the global score.
FOLITIC Activity: from the current top 300 assets in CoinLore, retain assets with market capitalization of at least $10 million, volume of at least $1 million and a valid 24-hour change. Identified stablecoins, gold-pegged tokens and wrapped/staked duplicates are excluded. Exclusion coverage depends on available names and identifiers. Score = 50% turnover percentile + 30% absolute 24-hour change percentile + 20% volume percentile, multiplied by 100. Ties receive their average percentile. Turnover is reported 24-hour volume divided by market capitalization. This is not a search-popularity, sentiment or investment-quality score.
Trending prices, market caps, volumes and changes belong to its daily snapshot. Country assets are enriched only when a stable identifier or canonical asset page matches the global snapshot; symbol-only matching is never used. Activity figures are checked every 10 minutes. Gainers and Losers use the eligible Activity universe, not every listed cryptocurrency. Watchlist entries retain each feed’s identity and timing. Updates depend on upstream availability and may be delayed.
The available feeds do not supply token launch age, DEX liquidity, DEX transaction counts, sentiment votes or security scans. These columns remain visible as unavailable. Days spent on a trending list are not token age; trading volume is not liquidity. A missing value is never treated as zero. No hourly or four-hour popularity ranking is fabricated.
Monograms identify ticker symbols, not verified project logos. Watchlists are saved locally on this browser, not linked to your account. All figures are for research and education; popularity and activity do not establish suitability, authenticity or safety.
