CHAIN RANKING
Compare blockchain ecosystems through DeFi value, decentralized exchange activity and network revenue. Explore the leaders, then follow the history behind the numbers.
Highest TVL Growth
Networks with at least $1M TVL and comparable daily readings.
Highest DEX Volume Growth
At least $100K volume in each compared period. Consecutive, equal-length periods.

About Chain Ranking
Chain Ranking brings ecosystem activity into one view. TVL measures capital deposited in tracked DeFi protocols; DEX volume measures trading activity over a period. Revenue follows each network’s accounting methodology. These measures answer different questions and should be considered together.
My chain is not on the leaderboard, or my chain has no DEX data.
Coverage follows the available public chain and protocol datasets. A network can have TVL coverage without DEX history or revenue coverage. Search for its name and check the available fields. Missing data does not imply that a chain has no activity.
What are the data sources for the dashboard?
This FOLITIC research dashboard uses public DefiLlama chain, DEX and revenue statistics, and available native-token capitalization from CoinLore. It has independent coverage and calculations; it does not reproduce CoinMarketCap’s proprietary on-chain dataset.
Data notes & methodology
Dates and updates. Source snapshots are checked every six hours through one shared cache. The page checks that cache every two minutes while visible. Charts use completed UTC days and retain up to five years of available daily history. Coverage, reporting delays and start dates differ by network. A failed refresh preserves the last available data and its timestamp.
Growth and periods. DEX volume compares consecutive equal-length periods. TVL growth compares the latest completed daily observation with the observation 1, 7 or 30 days earlier; the table’s TVL value is the current source snapshot. Growth cards exclude tiny comparison bases: at least $1M TVL, or $100K DEX volume in each compared period. Growth is not a token price return.
DEX liquidity and protocols. DEX Liq is the sum of reported TVL in tracked DEX protocols on the chain, not a measure of order-book depth or every token pool. Its historical change is unavailable. Total DEXs and DeFi Protocols count distinct parent projects where identified, so versions are not counted as separate brands. DeFi protocol counts exclude centralized exchanges, bridges and native liquid staking/restaking categories. Methodologies can differ from other dashboards.
Revenue and P/S. Revenue is the chain adapter’s reported revenue, not total app fees or trader profit. Definitions differ between networks, including burned fees and net sequencer income. P/S is native-token circulating market cap divided by the selected period’s revenue annualized at 365 days. It is shown only when both inputs are available and revenue is positive. Short-period annualization is volatile and is not a forecast. A network using another network’s gas token is not assigned that token’s market cap.
Unavailable proprietary metrics. Unique Traders, New Tokens, Active Tokens and All Tokens MC remain visible for comparison structure, but are not supplied by this free dataset. Active wallet counts are not substituted for distinct DEX traders, and daily address counts are never added to manufacture a weekly distinct count. The Unique Traders chart explains this gap. No data is inferred from a missing value.
History. A stacked chart uses only dates with observations for every selected series; gaps are not filled with invented values. Select a network name or legend item to inspect it individually. Rankings and available history can cover different numbers of networks. This is editorial research information, not a price feed or an investment recommendation.
