Two purchases in the disclosure

Celsius director Damon DeSantis reported purchasing 20,000 shares on September 14, 2026, at $27.65 and 16,000 shares on September 15 at $27.95. The combined reported figures imply approximately $1.00 million before costs.

The filing reports 2,728,187 shares held directly after the purchases. Celsius describes its business as functional beverages and identifies CELSIUS, Alani Nu and Rockstar Energy among its brands.

An ownership signal within a consumer business

The purchases add exposure, but they do not report how fast beverages are being consumed or how much stock is sitting in distribution channels. Those are separate pieces of evidence.

For a beverage company, shipments to distributors and purchases by end customers can move at different speeds. Investors should therefore examine inventory and channel commentary alongside reported revenue. A strong shipment period does not necessarily establish the same rate of consumer demand.

The 36,000 shares added also need to be viewed relative to the much larger existing holding. Dollar size and proportional change answer different questions, and neither reveals the director’s complete motivation.

The profitability questions to keep open

Marketing, promotions, freight and distribution arrangements all affect how sales become profit. A growing brand may require spending before the associated returns are visible in cash flow.

The useful follow up is to compare changes in the ownership record with later evidence about volumes, margins and working capital. If demand or economics weaken, an earlier insider purchase cannot cancel that evidence.

This article records two completed September transactions. It does not claim that the director’s purchase price represents fair value or that a purchase predicts the next quarterly result.
