The evidence
Uniswap Labs and the Uniswap Foundation published the UNIfication proposal on November 10, 2025. It proposed activating protocol fees and changing incentives across the ecosystem. The announcement said the protocol had processed approximately $4 trillion in cumulative volume.
This analysis examines the proposal as published. A proposal is not, by itself, proof that every proposed fee was implemented across every pool or that any current token holder receives a particular return.

FOLITIC analysis
For onchain analysis, the path from activity to value matters. Swap notional is not revenue. Fees paid by traders are not automatically protocol income, and protocol income is not automatically a distribution to token holders.
A hypothetical pool can experience rising volume while its fee rate falls. Another pool may have lower volume but collect more fees because of its structure. Aggregating both without separating fee tiers can hide the change that actually matters to liquidity providers.
The same caution applies to large swaps. A transaction may include several routed legs, and adding each leg as fresh external demand can overstate the economic trade. Pool events need to be reconciled at the transaction level.
What to watch
Check governance execution, pool specific settings and actual fee collection for the period being analyzed. Evaluate revenue and liquidity together, and avoid using cumulative historical volume as a valuation shortcut.
